    TVC for Optus to promote there mobile TV service.

    Working closely with concept artist Simon Cowell and designer Andrei Juradowitch we developed a cheeky monkey character that had to work as both a 2D "T-shirt" graphic as well as a 3D character.
    Final character was worked up by Andrei before being handed over to the 3D department to animate at Fuelvfx.

    These 2 commercials to launch where made over a 6 month period. Shot in Rome, my role as a designer was quite small as the style of Frank Millers city was created by the team of 3D artists, matte painters and compositors at Fuelvfx.
    Once all the 3D assets were built and laid out in pre-vis, I had to do style frames for each scene to get a final look happening with sky replacements, grade and overall tone and feel of the metropolis. Once Frank Miller locked off this look it then went on to final compositing in Nuke.
    Also basic end logo work was part of my role.

    I spoke about the design work involved on these commercial at the Semi-Permanent design conference in Sydney.

    A collaboration with Tui Studios to co-direct a 60 sec commercial for the SCH.
    Ex Disney animators, Tui designed all the characters and set pieces before story boarding out the complete commercial. FSM then animated the characters on 3D cards.
    My role apart from contributing story points was to composite the complete commercial in After Effects adding in all the environments and atmosphere.
